You must first apply for a primary service before you can add any related service requests.
If you have determined that you need a Related Service, select 'Ready to Apply' from the left navigation menu.
If you have applied for more than one primary service, be certain when you request a related service you have matched it with the correct primary service. See fee schedule for current fees.
Duplicate Reports
If you wish to apply to more than one jurisdiction, duplicate reports of your educational credential review can be ordered through your online file and sent to states that accept these from the FCCPT. The applicant will not receive a copy of the duplicate report.
Request for Copies
Applicants can also order a request for copies of documents in their file to be certified and sent to a third party or to themselves. Applicants should note that once documents have been sent to the FCCPT, these are the property of the FCCPT.
USCIS Status Report Letter
Applicants who are applying for a Comprehensive Credential Evaluation Review (Type I Certificate) and want to obtain a status report for USCIS, should submit the Request for Status Report, with their signature affixed, and fax to 703-684-8715, along with the page from the USCIS letter that indicates a deadline or appointment date. FCCPT will prepare and e-mail it to the applicant within 15 days of receipt. There is no fee for this service, but the request must be made through the online application process.
An applicant may choose to expedite the status report. There is a fee for the expedited service. The FCCPT will e-mail the USCIS Status Report Letter within 5 days of receipt of payment. An applicant who graduated after January 1, 1998 and wishes to have a previous Type I report language changed to reflect Master’s degree language may also apply for an expedited status report. The report will be prepared and sent via e-mail within the 5 days of receipt of payment.
Re-Activating an old Type I, Educational Credential Review, or PTA-EER Service
Once an application is submitted, all required documents must be received by the FCCPT within 12 months. If the required documents have not been provided to the FCCPT by the appropriate source within this time frame, the file will be closed.
The file may be reactivated by applying online through the same file number.
There are special instructions for re-opening the New York Verification Process. Please see the description of that Process for these instructions.
Re-evaluations
Applicants whose education has been found not equivalent and have completed extra course work, or who failed to submit all required educational documents prior to the initial evaluation, may request a re-evaluation after an educational credential evaluation report has been issued.
There are 5 different types of re-evaluations that apply to the PT or PTA applicant. Please see the full description of all re-evaluations for more information.
Type I Certificate Renewal
If you have not used the Type I certificate to obtain a visa or work permit in 5 years it will expire and you will need to renew. To renew you must provide new English proficiency scores, (IBT-TOEFL) and verification of all licenses held since graduation, both active and inactive. If you have completed the NPTE you would also need to provide this test score.
