Welcome to the new FCCPT website!

The FCCPT is a non-profit organization created to assist the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and U.S. jurisdiction licensing authorities by evaluating the credentials of foreign educated physical therapists (FEPTs).

The Website has been organized to help you move through a systematic process to best identify and understand your needs.

Important Announcements

As of January 26, 2012, West Virginia has joined the list of states that will accept reviews from the FCCPT.

Type I and Educational Credentials reviews are being completed as quickly as possible.
These are being completed within 8 working weeks.

Changes in PLAN services
Once a PLAN advisor has sent out notice with options for supplemental coursework applicant has 6 months to return their completed worksheet. After 6 months the applicant would need to apply for PLAN incremental for additional assistance.

General Information is designed to assist with:

Services

Comprehensive Credentials Evaluation (Type I Certificate)
Uses: USCIS Healthcare worker Certificate, Licensure, CMS certification, educational admissions

Visa Screen (Type II Certificate)
Uses: USCIS only, applications to be suspended Sept. 1, 2009

Educational Credentials Review
Uses: Licensure, Educational admissions, CMS certification.

New York Verification Process
Uses: Required for application for NY licensure.

Physical Therapist Assistant – Educational Equivalency Review
Uses: CMS certification, Licensure in some jurisdictions.

Planned Learning and Assistance Network (PLAN)
A related service to assist applicants who find they have deficiencies in educational requirements.

The FCCPT does not discriminate among applicants as to age, sex, race, religion, national origin,
