The Type 1 for Immigration is a visa screening authorized by USCIS for immigration purposes.
Applicants use the Type 1 for Immigration to obtain a USCIS Healthcare Worker Certificate required for a work visa. This service includes an Educational Credentials Review, verification of eligibility to practice PT in the country of education (and elsewhere, if applicable), and verification of English language proficiency.
The Type 1 for Licensure Only provides a course by course evaluation of your educational credentials, verification of licensure/registration, verification of TOEFL for jurisdictions that require this service. The evaluation is completed on the Coursework Evaluation Tool (CWT) that is required by the jurisdiction selected as your Included Report. Applicants use the Educational Credential Review to apply for a license to practice PT in the U.S., to apply for admission into some U.S. educational programs, and for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) certification as a Medicare/Medicaid provider.
